Hasan Nawaz, Saim Ayub Rise in Latest T20I Rankings

9 News HD: Pakistan’s Hasan Nawaz and Saim Ayub have moved up in the latest ICC T20I rankings, while spinner Abrar Ahmed has lost the top position in the bowling rankings.

Hasan Nawaz made one of the biggest jumps among Pakistan players. He moved up 62 places to reach 48th position in the T20I batting rankings with 536 rating points. His strong performance in the Asian Games final against India helped him make this major rise. Nawaz scored 96 runs in the match and hit seven sixes.

Saim Ayub also improved his position in the batting rankings. He moved up one place to 38th with 566 points. Pakistan captain Sahibzada Farhan continues to hold third place with 818 points, behind India’s Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma.

There was also a change at the top of the T20I bowling rankings. Abrar Ahmed dropped to second place with 718 points, while Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan returned to the number-one position. Australia’s Adam Zampa remained third.

The latest rankings include performances from the Asian Games 2026 and the opening T20I between India and the West Indies. The changes give Pakistan fans several players to watch as the team prepares for its upcoming T20I series against Sri Lanka.
