9 News HD: The Pakistan women’s cricket team defeated Bangladesh by 31 runs to claim the bronze medal at the 2026 Asian Games.

Pakistan batted first. Made 145 runs for eight wickets in their 20 overs. Fatima Sana was the scorer with 45 runs from just 30 balls. Gull Feroza added 31 runs to help stabilize the innings.

Bangladesh needed 146 runs to win the match.. Pakistan’s bowlers stayed strong and kept the pressure on preventing Bangladesh from reaching the target.

Umm-e-Hani stood out as Pakistan’s bowler. She took three wickets for 10 runs. Bangladesh ended their innings at 114 runs for seven wickets.

As a result Pakistan won the bronze medal match by 31 runs. This victory gave the Pakistan women’s cricket team a spot on the podium at the Asian Games.

Earlier the team had lost their -final match against Sri Lanka.. They came back strongly in the bronze medal match and delivered a solid performance against Bangladesh.
